Guest guest
When I decided to be come a vegetarian I was totally lost. I had no idea of what I could or should eat. I posted a notice on Freecycle and was gifted with two brand new vegetarian cookbooks. The origianal Moosewood was one of them. So many people think about becoming vegetarian and buy cooks and expensive ingredients and then never follow through. I buy most of my books at a goodwill store. I very rarely use a book now. I just needed to cookbook to get me started. I love the Moosewood polenta recipies.Katie " dgontard " <dgontard wrote: I haven't tried that one. The best one I've come across is from The Moosewood Cookbook (the original one). The only change I've made to it is that I bake the falafel instead of fry it. It's surprising how moist they stay on the inside that way too. It's got the best and simplest recipe for tahini sauce too. Denise
