Guest guest
I would be careful on the " tricking " the non veg into eating veggie burgers, etc. He could resent being tricked! You wouldn't want someone feeding you something with chicken in it because they know what's better for you! My husband is omni, but eats way more veggie meals than when we first met. I have gradually given him info on especially bad factory farm practices and companies. I tend to make veggie based dishes and he can grill a steak, chicken breast etc to go along with it, more often than not he eats what I've made and skips thawing that organic chick breast in the back of the freezer! I don't buy meat for him ,unless he requests it ( he does request bratwurst and so forth now that it's summer!) I do make quite a few veggie main dishes, spinach lasagna, tacos w/ beans no meat, spaghetti, there are so many things you can just leave the meat out of and not make 2 meals. That said, the best transition meal that somewhat converted my husband was chili made with Carol Shelby's chili seasoning pack Follow the directions except use Morning Star Burger Crumbles in place of ground meat, add onions, peppers, and beans to the chili, I haven't met anyone who didn't love this chili! Good luck with your transition/transformation! melissa , " Wendolyn " <edanathered wrote: > > Thanks, Isis!
