Easy and great for summer cook-outs or picnics when it's too hot to bake in the oven. This is my own created recipe . TNT Three cups pre-soaked and cooked Navy or White Northern Beans (I prepared the beans the day before in the crock pot.) **1/4 cup mayple syrup 1 teas. dry mustard 1 teas. onion powder 1 teas. garlic powder 1/2 - 1 teaspoon paprika . I use 1 teas. because I like that slightly ' spicy hot' taste. 1/2 teaspoon sea salt ** You can substitute 1/4 Cup molassas + 3 Tablespoons brown sugar Add spices and syrup to pre-cooked beans Simmer for apx. 30 min. until liquid cooks down and spices are blended.
