I think I have those same trays (I just looked and it does say Rubbermaid on the tray) and, yes, they do make smaller cubes, but they can be stacked. You just have to reverse each layer. If we're talking about the same trays, there's a plus sign on each tray so you know how to stack them. TM ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
I recently bought plastic ice cube trays from Dollar General, I think it was 5/$1. We have a brand new refrigerator after remodeling our kitchen. But, our city water has chlorine and fluoride. Thus we don't use the icemaker either. I'd bought 'Rubbermaid' ice cube trays from my grocer, but ended up hating them. they drop down inside either other so you can't stack them! Now I use these to freeze tomato paste/sauce, etc. in. I complained to Rubbermaid because the cubes are so small and the fact they don't stack. Rubbermaid assured me they weren't theirs. I told her it had the Rubbermaid wrapping and was within a Rubbermaid display!
