Hey, I've given my guinea pigs parsley ,but never any other herbs such

as basil, mint?...what's safe and do they like it? I am left with one

elderly guinea pig (I had them as class pets when I was a teacher) and

I fully believe in spoiling the little guy!

Thanks, melissa

Butterscotch J. Furpants recommends all those plants, but wiser minds suggest he

should

not be eating the chives or anything from the onion family. Mike T. Pig reminds

me that

piggies also like a weed he calls plantain and also grass if it comes from the

food-growing

barrel. They'd both graze the lawn if I'd let them, but soil tests showed traces

of DDT so I

don't let them.

Do you know the guinea pig daily digest? Those folks are a source of a lot of

the guinea

pig lore I've picked up.

just north of Boston

slave to two guinea pigs with VERY SHARP TEETH

(just in case you are slow with the all-holy Salad Time)
