Guest guest
Hi Marty, You'll love it here, loads of good food and flavorful too! Some people still seem to have a misconception about vegetarian eating. I'm getting hungry, we're having homemade french bread, spinach salad with scallions, carrots, chick peas, black beans, feta cheese, beets, croutons.....poppyseed or Italian dressing. I want to make up a batch of that Midnight Farm salad dressing I posted way back. Its good on spinach. I must be craving salt because I also have green olives, peppercini and artichoke hearts set out. Amy ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
I a newbie to the vegetarian way of life, been a carnivor all of my life. all 64 years of it. Due to health reasons, I need to cut my comsumption of meat products way back. I figure the easiest way to do that is to just not buy any at all. I know nothing at all about what you need to meet nutritional needs. I will continue to eat eggs and use dairy products (reduced fat or fat free) Not ready to give up my milk and Doc said skim or 1 % is O.K. So any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance Marty
Guest guest
Welcome, Marty. If you go to the group page, click on file, then click on recipes, you will have recipes galore and can make all sorts of good foods. There are charts about what the daily intake is. They may be in the files somewhere.
