Guest guest
my kids are pretty experimental, but things they loved as kids (mustard, beets) they don't like anymore. And they like things now they didn't then. I usually follow the 1 bite rule too. How old are your kids? I let mine help prepare things as soon as they were old enough to sit on the counter and help pour ingredients into the bowl. If they helped that is always an appetite enhancer. Do they usually like chickpeas? Good luck! Keep at it, maybe they just need to see it a few times to accept it. Amy ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
Oh my goodness I made this today for lunch it was so yummy. I got all excited thinking my kids would love it and it would make the perfect school lunch. Both boys put up a fight one finally ate it the other is a very hungry boy. That's the thing tuning veggie when the kids are older they don't try new things. If anyone has suggestions. I try the one bite rule but my 10 year old won't budge. Steph Sick sense of humor? Guest guest
Amy, My boys are 6 & 10. The 6 year old is always in the kitchen with me but the 10 year old won't cook/bake. I hate having to say no dessert and listening to them be so rude. My 10 year old was so hungry he did take one bite and said it was yummy but I think he just said that so he could eat a dessert. It was so yummy so they will see it again. Steph Luggage? GPS? Comic books? Check out fitting gifts for grads at Search.
