thyroid question revisited

I remember a discussion about thyroid issues and soy products a while

back. To revisit and ask a question...I have been consuming too much

soy lately. Soy milk, soy burgers, soy cheese, etc. Being cookout

season I think I am eating way more soy than usual. I seem to be

putting on weight despite the extra exercise and activity of summer.

Does anyone else have first hand knowledge of soy interfering with

thyroid function? Is this a risk only if you have been diagnosed with

hypothyroidism? Or could the large soy consumption being doing

something to my thyroid function? Or am I just consuming way more

calories with this stuff?

Your thoughts and experience are appreciated!

The following link is a good place to research the subject and all

things about the thyroid. I have read much about soy products and the

thyroid at this site.
