Guest guest
I have a recipe (multi- grain scones) that calls for millet. But I cannot seem to buy it at the local stores. What is the texture and could something else be substituted? thanks melissa

Guest guest
I was going to say quinoa, but quinoa is a lighter grain. Millet reminds me of bird food. It's rather dry and absorbs liquid. Not sure if there is a good substitute, Petro , Katie M <cozycate wrote: > > quinoa is simular in texture and like millit, contains no gluten. > Katie > > Melissa <mapalicka wrote: > I have a recipe (multi- grain scones) that calls for millet.
