Isabelle,

OH..........beets and radishes,,,,,,,,,, how could I have forgotten those......

Love them both. I'll have to try them roasted. I have always boiled them in

their skins, then slipped off the skins when beets are tender and cut into

chunks. I add a little water. If I have the green tops off of them, I add

them at this point to the beet chunks, along with a little cooking oil and tiny

bit of salt. I dook them about 10 minutes or less. Yummmmmmmm.

 

I love radishes, just trimmed up and sprinkled with a little salt or in salads.

Don't you hate it when you get an extra hot one......... Yuck.

Favorite Root Veggies

 

 

Beets: roasted with EVOO, garlic, a little salt and

pepper then served drizzled with balsamic vinager

 

Radishes: marinated on salads

 

Carrots: raw and grated on salads as well

 

Potatoes: in every possible way (cooked) =D
