Tropical Oatmeal Coconut Cookies (very yummy)

Tropical Oatmeal Coconut Cookies

 

1 cup shortening

3/4 cup maple syrup

1 egg

1 1/2 cup flour

1 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. baking soda

dash salt

1 1/2 cups oatmeal

1 cup coconut

 

Mix ingredients in order given. Drop by spoonfuls onto

a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 400 degree oven for

10 to 12 minutes.
