I have 25 plus cookbooks that I have purchased for less that $3 ea. at

my local thrift stores. Not all are Vegetarian but I adapt them to my

meat free diet. Some of my favorites are Better Homes and

Gardens 'Cooking Mexican'(beautifully illustrated and easy step-by-step

how-to photos.

Betty Crocker's 'Vegetarian Cooking',Marie Oser's 'Soy of

Cooking' 'Everyday Cooking Vegetables, and Doris Christopher's

Stoneware Sensations..Oh yes and my 3 pieces of Pampered Chef Stoneware

I purchased at the ARC Thrift Store for $4 each.

I have several great canning-preserving books, and numerous nutrition

books also purchased for less than $3. My favorite vitamin book is ' H.

Winter Griffith MD's ' Complete Guide to Vitamins, minerals and

Supplements.'

Oh yes and my favorite canning book is 'Keeping the Harvest' by Nancy

Chioffi and Gretchen Mead.

Most of these are stacked or in a basket next to my computer for easy

reference.

Before I had the money to buy books of my own I checked out the

wonderful selection at my local library.
