This was a life and death riot here in L.A. we couldn't get out of

the building and windows being broken all around us.

The warehouse guys shared what was left of their lunch since they

ordered pizza many hours before this broke out. I had no parts where

meat touched it but like I said if you were in a horrid situation you

will do what you have to do to make it out OK and if you have to pick

off a slice of pepperoni in a situation like that no one should feel

guilty for doing so.

Sorry I didn't read your email properly so didn't realise it was a riot. Plus

I'm in the UK and so had never heard of the events. Good thing people left pizza

edges behind - or did they do it especially for you because you are a veggi?

Again, maybe it's an American thing to not eat your crusts, I don't know?

I had one situation where I had to eat pizza with the meat pieces removed as

there was nothing else to eat.

Most of the guys were single so they just happened by chance to order

enough pizza to take home. They even ended up broking the glass in

the vending machines to get bottled water and snacks out. The Natl.

Guards had no idea how long we would be stuck in there.

I love the crust, many people leave it on their plates.

I don't recall in all the years I've been a veg. that I've had to

pick any meat out of a dish except for this close call, I always go

prepared but you never know when an emergency will hit.
