Guest guest
Hi, I've noticed a lot of ?'s lately about becoming vegetarian, what to eat or not eat, etc., so I thought I'd share some websites that I have found helpful. My family and I are also new vegetarians and still learning. Just hang in there because it does get easier. I'm amazed at how much our tastes have changed already. If you have previously not liked fruits or vegetables a lot in the past, just keep eating them and pretty soon you will like them! Here's an article, Vegetarianism: A Few Facts http://www.vegsource.com/articles/veg_definition.htm There's also a vegetarian food pyramid http://www.vegsource.com/nutrition/pyramid.htm and example serving sizes http://www.vegsource.com/food_groups.htm I'm sure there's more on this website, but I haven't had a lot of time to look around! This website has a Vegetarian Starter Kit, plus lots of other info http://www.pcrm.org/health/veginfo/vsk/index.html Just do a few searches on google, and I'm sure you'll come up with more information than you can handle! Also, Home Made Health by Dr. Raymond Moore is what started us on our vegetarian journey. If you can get your hands on it, I highly recommend this book! I hope this helps and keep up the good work!
