Do you mean the smooth green coconuts Tracey? And the flesh that is a

little soft? In my experience it should not be sour.

Peace,

I looked it up online and the outside was white 'husk'like. To be

honest, when I first saw them I thought it was the coconut meat out of

the shell. It wasn't til I had the hammer out and wacking it that I

realized that the coconut was inside. I scooped out the inside and it

was soft, which is how it is suppose to be, according to what I read

online, but no where I read did it say the taste.

Soooooooo, what I wanted to make was a raw chocolate pudding. Which was

2 young coconuts, 6 dates & 4 tablespoons of organic cocoa powder. I

put it all together in a processor and it tasted really bad.

I am really interested in alot of the raw food recipes and I am trying

alot of different things. I will be asking alot more questions..

Hi Tracey,

No, it is never sour, it is just very tender and thin. It starts out

as a jelly in the young coconut and slowly gets thicker and harder as

the coconut matures. It is delicious no matter what stage its in!!!
