Guest guest
Skye, I have tried Worthington meatless corned beef, and I don't like it cold in a sandwich as a cold cut, but I do like it fried and used in an egg sandwich. I likeYves meatless Canadian bacon, and I make a sort of egg mcmuffin with it, an English muffin toasted with butter and a fried egg with cheese and fried meatless Canadian bacon. I have substituted meatless corned beed for the Canadian bacon and it's equally good. I admit to adding salt and pepper to the meatless meats to add flavor. I also don't care for tofu and hope that I someday learn to like it. Karen Also, i was wondering if anyone eats the 'veggie cold cuts' various companies make - i do not live near a large health food store, so either i make a long trip a few times a year or mail order. These are some i have come across but have not tried (coward :-) tuno - comes frozen dried chicken 'salad' - not from tofu veggie 'turkey, chicken, roast beef and corned beef (that one and 'ham' from Worthington Foods).
