Guest guest Posted April 21, 2007 Report Share Posted April 21, 2007 Indian Curried Rice and Carrots 2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons chopped green onions 1 teaspoon chopped, peeled garlic 1 cup rice 1 carrot, sliced 2 teaspoons curry powder 1 bay leaf 1 1/2 cups broth Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Add green onions and garlic; sauté briefly until onions turn bright green. Mix in rice, carrot, curry powder and bay leaf. Pour in broth and cover.
