The intelligence of fish - Rachel

I'd be careful about trying to pet Betta Fish. I've heard they can be

aggressive. Are your two in the same bowl? Petsmart, told us they will fight,

so we put our in seperate ones. They lived around 3 years, which I was

impressed with. They were so pretty.

 

Cute names you choose. Hope you enjoy your concert this weekend to see Art

Garfunkel.

This was the cutest thing I have ever seen...the fish pushing the soccer ball

into the goal! I showed this link to everybody I know. I've never tried to pet

my two betta fish (Paul Simon is the blue one, and Art Garfunkel is the red

one), but I might give it a try. Who knows...they might like it!

Yes, they can definitely be aggressive! I have them in a double tank, where they

are in the same tank but they have a clear plastic divider between them. That

makes them see one another, and they are always flaring their fins and they are

super pretty!

 

I will most definitely have a blast seeing my Artie...I will no doubt be the

youngest one there. I am 26, and his fan base are most all in their 50s and

60s!!! I was born in the wrong decade, lol!!
