Your post caught my eye in particular because I was diagnosed with out of control diabetes in January of this year. I went from ovo-lacto-vegetarian (who ate lots of processed foods) to low-fat vegan overnight. The results have been great. I just had all my blood work redone and I've gone from an A1c of 12.2 to 6.1 without any meds! Also, my cholesterol has gone from 280 to 199, my triglycerides from 260 to 94 and my LDL from 192 to 144. My doctor could not believe the results from 3 months of eating healthy and walking every day.
