Guest guest
Hi there everyone! I am new to tofu. I bought some tonight at Wal-Mart and it's super firm, cubed. Do I need to freeze it and press it or should I be able to make some good stir fry with it the way it is, unfrozen? Thanks for your help! In response to the vegetable bologna question, I buy Lightlife brand, and it's at my Wal-Mart in the produce section with the tofu. I bought some roast turkey flavor tonight, and I haven't tried it but I hope it's as good as the bologna! I am crossing over into vegan territory, and it's going great but some of the family just do not understand. Tonight I ordered a cheeseless pizza with lots of veggies on it, b/c we were at a restaurant that served burgers and pizza and that's about it. My uncle said " WHAT ARE YOU EATING???? " Also, my brother called me a " left-wing extremist hippie " for going vegan. I just laughed and said thanks for the compliment!! Have a great day guys! I love this group! I am going to fly to Charlotte, NC this weekend to see Art Garfunkel in concert and I will miss out on my veggie group for the weekend, and I'm likely to have withdrawals, LOL! (I am a Garfunkel groupie...I see him in concert whenever physically possible.) Rachel in North Alabama
