Guest guest Posted April 15, 2007 Report Share Posted April 15, 2007 Powered-Up Vegetable Sandwich 1 whole wheat bagel or 2 slices whole grain bread 3 tablespoons hummus 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, optional balsamic vinegar 4 to 5 slices red or green peppers or both fresh spinach leaves 6 to 8 slices cucumber Toast sliced bread or bagel. Spread hummus on both slices and sprinkle with sesame seeds and a dash or two of balsamic vinegar. Place sliced vegetables on top of hummus. Slice and serve.
