Guest guest
Having problems with your veggie patties sticking to your hands or the pan. Falling apart. Too thick. You can make the perfect , flat, round patties by following these directions. Place 1-2 cups of flour on a cutting board or large plate. You can season this flour with salt, pepper, etc. if you choose. I like to use Masa, but reg. corn meal or any flour will work. Drop a heaping table spoon of your favorite veggie patty mix onto the flour. Use a spoon to press the patty flat, smooth and round the edges. Turn the patty so that both sides are covered with the flour. Place the patty in hot oil and brown thoroughly on one side before turning. Patties can also be baked in the oven instead of being fried. Works great for balls and scrambles too. Sending smiles and hugs Deanna in Colorado PS you are welcome to join our recycled_gardens at recycled_gardensgroup.
