Guest guest
What have you made so far or did I pass over a post? I cheated and made a fast dinner, I opened a can of vegetarian chili and added some diced tofu, heated up and ate. Guest guest
Hi Felicia I did post about the first block, but I baked the ginger marinated tofu and served it with a satay sauce which I posted, basmati rice and green veggies. I used half the natural tofu in a sadly mediocre crockpot vegetable and bulgar wheat chilli (which I won't bother posting but will try again) and with the other half I plan to make Mari's Thai fried rice with pineapple and tofu. With the smoked tofu I'm planning to make the tofu pecan stirfry which has just been posted. I have discovered that baked tofu is really good - I had never tried that before. I will be trying Maureen's BBQ tofu recipe as I have developed a taste for a peanut satay sauce which was also new to me. I've probably eaten as much tofu in the last week as I would usually eat in 6 months! Guest guest
Sometimes I just heat up a can of pinto or black beans, add lots of garlic and hot peppers, sprinkle with nutritional yeast and eat with corn tortillas. Not bad for a 2 minute meal.
