Guest guest
I discovered during the last strike I could cook more from scratch and save money by shoping at Whole Foods and Wild Oats and buying bulk, I found their frozen vegetables to be the same price or a small amount higher but better quality, I used Trader Joe's a lot. Then I would look at Walmart or Target for toiletries, paper goods and misc. items. I would also frequent Asian and Latin markets for fruits and vegetables.
