Guest guest
Greetings and blessings to all - I was reading some of the back digests and came across the topic on " mayo vs. veganaise " - we have used both in the past (no miracle whip) and have used veganiase only for over a decade now - however we do use this very simple natural mayo that we make ourselves in the blender when we want a change or run out of veganaise - though not true vegetarian it is a very good, natural and simple recipe. hope you all enjoy - namaste' doc a simple mayonaise recipe: 1 organic or free range egg 1/2 tsp each of dry mustard, sugar, salt dash of ceyenne pepper 2 Tbls White vinegar 1 cup of organic salad oil or olive oil Mix the egg, spices and vinegar along with 1/4 cup of the oil and blend well in blender - then slowly add the remaining 3/4 cup of oil - in a steady stream through the hole in the top of the blender and blend thoroughly. this can keep for about a week or 2 in the frig.
