Fiddleheads, where are you?

I know some of the members find them but I don't think

there's a finddlehead anywhere to be found in a

California market. Guru mailed me a box, they do

taste soemthing close to asparagus. I'm still on the

hunt for them.

They're definitely seasonal. Last time they were in season I started

watching for them and, lo and behold, they carried them at Trader Joes.

(I live in San Francisco.) I didn't try them, however!
