Guest guest
Two times in the last week I've had this salad, it is sooo good. The dressing is what makes the taste so wonderful. This could go in raw files, it's from Alissa Cohen's Living on Live Food. California Salad 1 small crisp lettuce (I used leaves of red leaf lettuce) 8 oz baby spinach leaves 2 carrots, coarsely grated 2 c cherry tomatoes, halved (kept mine whole) 2 stalks celery, thinly sliced 1/2 c raisins 1/2 c sprouted almonds or raw cashews (I used peanuts one time) 2 tbsp sesame seeds Dressing: 1 small orange, juiced 3 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp cider vinegar 2 tsp honey salt & pepper to taste (I used none) Mix together all ingredients for salad and place in a large bowl. Mix together ingredients for dressing and pour over salad.
