Guest guest
I've always been a vegetarian. I am a 3rd generation vegetarian and raising a 4th. A heathy vegetarian diet, is something that is greatly encouraged by our faith(SDA). I have never had any urge to eat meat, because it completely turns me off. I've also been blessed by having a family of great cooks in this vegetarian path. What a blessing that has been. We never ate junk foods growing up, except for an occaional potato chip, etc.... We rarely ate out and really only remember Taco Bell,. Most everything was freshly cooked, as I continue in my house today. We love to include meat substitutes in some of our meals too and appreciate the taste and variety to our meal prepartion that they provide. I love the local produce stands. The owners of them, let local farmers come in and sell them things they grow, which I think it great for our local economy. He also goes to another big farmers market for his other produce. I just love fresh foods to cook with or make salads, etc.... They taste extra yummy. I love frozen veggies and fruit too and of course use some canned items. What a blessing to have so much at our fingertips to prepare great meals with. Judy
