Guest guest Posted March 18, 2007 Report Share Posted March 18, 2007 I'm a fairly new member of this group and I just tried the crockpot potato stuffed cabbage recipe in the files. I believe you were the one who added that recipe to the files. I just finished making it and I think a correction may be necessary to the recipe. It says 5 lbs. of potatoes and I had thought that was a tremendous amount of potatoes and wouldn't even fit in my crockpot. But I'm a stickler for following directions and went ahead with it. I had more than twice too much of the potato mixture, although I had plenty of cabbage leaves to stuff. My crockpot is full of cabbage and I have so much potato mixture left over. The potato mixture can be frozen, and used at a later date. I should have changed it back to 2 1/2 lbs. When I make it now we never have any left. But when i first made it I froze any leftover and made tater tots or made the dish again in a few weeks. I hope you liked it. I've frozen the extra and will make the dish again. And yes, I enjoyed the meal very much - thanks!!
