no no no <shoves Judy aside with a hip butt>

cardamom is not like cinnamon, even though it goes well with cinnamon. It is a

flavor and scent all it's own. I love the smell so much, in the winter time I

would add it to my potpourri pot, but the scent was so good it was driving me

crazy, I wanted to eat the potpourri, LOL.

Re: Re: Lovin' Spoonfuls (cookie recipe) Donna

I'm not Donna, but it most closely has the flavor of cinnamon or anise, but it

has a spicy uniquiness all it's own. I think you would enjoy having this spice

on your copious spice shelf. LOL I have a shelf like that too. Donna (cardamom

mama) shares lots of recipes with cardamom in it. It is one of her favorite

spices. : > ))

Enjoy,

Judy

Re: Lovin' Spoonfuls (cookie recipe) Donna

Hi Donna,

The recipe sounds great but its prompted me to ask something I've always

wondered about, what does cardamom taste like. Until recently I'd never seen it

in recipes, lately it keeps popping up. Do I need to add this spice to my

already copious spice shelf or is it one I could skip and no one would be the

wiser?
