Guest guest
I am pretty new to the group too and I am amazed at the amount of recipes and tips that I have gotten from the group. I have been a vegetarian since 1992. I have done what I think alot of vegetarian do in the beginning and " carbed up " . It wasn't til recently that I stopped eating dairy and with all these recipes I don't even miss dairy. I wasn't really a big meat eater in the past and when I announced to my family that I wasn't eating meat anymore they really weren't surprised. But now, I just want to eat healty!! And I want my family to eat healty!! And I am dying to try this fake shrimp... I think the only thing that is keeping me from going vegan is seafood. I don't think I can give up sushi. My 3 year old daughter even eats cucumber rolls. Sorry, to be sooo long winded but I love talking about food. LOL.. Guest guest
Tracey, I have found some great vegan sushi recipes at http://veganlunchbox.blogspot.com. She is very creative and includes pictures (which helps me a lot).
