My Mom made those. It's not as bad as it sounds..LOl She made her own pie crust and she would sprinkle it with place in a pie pan, sprinkle with sugar and then cardamom and cinnamon and bake it. We cut it in thin slices and had it just like that. Almost like a sweet cracker.
