Guest guest Posted March 5, 2007 Report Share Posted March 5, 2007 Thanks, Katie. At Walmart today, I paid so much for Vegetable stock. And I just knew there had to be a better way. And Judy....we traveled 30 miles to Walmart to get Worthington products so I could follow some of your recipes. They didn't have any. Not one can. Not any in the frozen foods, either. The stock man looked at us like we were crazy. They also didn't have any spaghetti squash. It was not a very good trip. Sue ---- Katie M 3/5/2007 7:16:17 PM Re: Vegetable stock? I made wonderful stock from pulp leftovers. It takes more pulp than you would expect, though, because the juice that is gone has so much of the flavor. I wouldn't bare to just throu it away so I make broth and I even make vegetable bread with the pulp. I make bird food with it, too.
