Guest guest
Any sugestions to jezzing up this very plain lunch? I normally have brown rice, squash or broccoli, with some " paul prodhomme " veggie seasioning. I've started bringing my lunch to work, and work like to make it just a little more interesting! (Plus, I like to prove to the omni's around me that I get to eat better than they do!) Sauces? Seasoning? Thanks in advance, Lori
Guest guest
I bet the spicy peanut sauce that was posted here recently by Becky, would be delicious on this. Have you checked out the sauce recipe files here? Also we love to Sweetened Spring Roll Sauce on our Vegetable Fried Rice(posted in the rice recipe folder here). Here is the one I buy at an Asian Grocery Store. It is wonderful. It is of course good on Vegetable Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls. http://tinyurl.com/2y3bh6 I am so surprised to find this on Amazon, when I just did a search. Wow I think you can buy almost anything on amazon. What a blessing, because it makes most any of the things recommended here, easily available to anyone. Guest guest
I used to eat stir fried veggies with brown rice and tofu every day for lunch. I used to put in chile powder, cumin powder some crushed red pepper flakes, ginger, cinnamon, tumeric, it was sort of a curry. As for veggies I would add, 1 onion, several cloves of garlic, some broccoli, bell peppers, corn, peas, and cauliflower.
