Guest guest
Take 1 pint of fresh cold water (spring is better), and add 1 desert spoon of vegetable reduced salt bullion, finely chop and throw in ¼ oz (7g) each of Dulse, Wakame, or Arame, (tho' you could use Ocean Kelp) and mixed Sea Salad, a couple of spring onions and a stem of celery, heat gently to near boil and simmer for 7-10 minutes. Add 6 oz of blended butterbeans (any white bean will be ok) simmer for 5 more; Serve with croutons, toast, or fresh buttered (alternative) wholemeal bread. A dash of Tabasco will give it fire. Its not everyone's taste (I love it) But it does contain lots of good things like the minerals and Iron that your body needs. I pick my own seaweed but if you cannot Chinese stores have a good stock of dried seaweed.
