I am was talking about a completely different " Teaching Company " than the one

you referred to, I see, upon a internet search. The one I was referring send

info about lots of great Homeschool Products. LOL big difference.

That makes alot more sense. A lot of things like comma's or misspelled words,

make a huge difference in what was meant. The Teaching Company has some good

things. I get their e-mails too. Great info about loads of good products.

John the Baptist

 

I was listening to some CDs by Bart Ehrman, a Biblical scholar. He

infered that John the Baptist may have been a vegetarian. According

to the Bible, he ate carob and locusts when in the desert. Dr. Ehrman

said that if one letter was changed, in the original, then locusts

would translate as " pancakes " . It would have been a Middle Eastern

type pancake and not one with maple syrup. He said that it would have

been much tastier and made a lot more sense. By the way, the CDs are

very good and are by " The Teaching Company " .
