Guest guest
Why don't you try some Cream of Mushroom or Celery Soup and add some Worthington Fri-Chik to it. Dice it up to the size you want. Add some of the broth that comes with the Worthington Fri--Chik in place of some of the half in half or make my " Chicken Seasoning " recipe from the Substitute file and add a Tablespoon or so of that with your half and half to give it a more " chicken " type flavor. You could also use the Bills Best " Chicken " seasoning. www.billsbest.net It is great. You could also dice up some of the Morningstar Farms " chicken " strips. They are frozen in most any grocery store. Morningstar Farms is a sister company of Worthington. There are many places to order Worthington/ Loma Linda meat substitutes online, if your local health food store doesn't carry it. Amazon has free shipping and great prices on the Loma Linda and Worthington Canned products, so that is wonderful. The canned products have a great shelf life. Also if you have an Adventist Book Center near you, they have a wonderful Health food section in their stores. www.adventistbookcenter.com Just click on locations to see if where you closest location is. Even though the food products are not on their website, if you call them, they will ship them to you and give you a detailed list of what they carry. If you aren't familiar with the Worthingon meat substitute products, here is a look at their line of products. http://www.kelloggs.com/brand/worthington click on canned products to see a picture of the can of the Vegetarian substitute. It is delicious. I use it in so many recipes. Any broth you don't use with any of the Worthington or Loma Linda products, just freeze in a zip lock bag and use later on in soups or to make a gravy with. I would have never thought to have sprinkled Coconut on this combination. I might just have to try it. Enjoy, Judy - hobi_sheliya Saturday, February 17, 2007 8:12 PM [sPAM] exchange help Hi everyone.
