Guest guest
I couldn't actually find the article, just a photo and letters. What would be the purpose of this though, I wonder. Presumably it needs some surgical procedure/s both at the beginning and end of the 'pregnancy'. I can't see much point. Guest guest
Ah, <<eg>> population control? I mean, if mean had to carry the baby for 9 months and then go through labor and delivery, zero population would be an immediate effect! Guest guest
I'm not so sure about that - I know men who would willingly take on the 'burden' rather than have their loved ones go through it. Guest guest
Oh, there are lots of great guys out there that would do most anything for their " spouse, " but that doesn't take into consideration that they don't have the same pain tolerance or the built in " forget " factor. One of the hospitals I worked at (a teaching hospital) had the residents set up various surveys to do over the period of two years that they worked at the hospital. One of them set up a questionaire for men who had been in the delivery room. Men who had btdt were usually more empethetic to women and most said they would no more do that, as one of our responders said, " than I would volunteer to have someone hit my thumb with a sledge hammer. " Also, most men who have worn the faux pregnancy thing have said they didn't know how women did it and they would NEVER get pregnant if that were a male option.
