Guest guest
That is scarey! It's a pity the whole population doesn't just refuse to fight. I was pleased when conscription ended here - I think it was two years before my brother was due to be ousted out of home and job. In the first Gulf war, my brother lived in Switzerland, and I already was considering whether my son could go on an extended holiday with him if conscription looked like being introduced. It seems to me if there's not enough people join the army because they want to fight a war, then the war shouldn't be fought. Guest guest
Of course it is. And the folks who voted for Alfred E. Newman's doppleganger had their heads in the sand. Of course, most of them didn't pay any attention when their children's school records were opened to recruiters, either.
