Guest guest
Hi, I have been noticing a sort of a new trend in food ingredients, NATURAL FLAVORING and now I am getting rather curious. I wetn to the supermarket and I bought a "vegetarian bean soup" from the brand, westbrae natural. I bought some "natural style" potato chips and I bought Heinz ketchup, among other groceries, which I can't quite remember. All of these have an ingredient called NATURAL FLAVORING, does anyone know what this is? if it is so natural, why can't they say what it is? meat can be "natural", what are they hiding? Why is this ingredient necesarry? I would really like to know exactly what I am eating, and not have vagueness, call me crazy.
Guest guest
Hi I don't know why they don't put all the ingredients on. In the UK they only have to list the ingredients that are more than 2% (?) of the total product. It may be the same in other countries. The best thing to do is find a site for the manufacturer and email them to ask what the natural flavours are.
