Guest guest
I agree that the problem seems to be more about the youth pastor, however would rather spend my time finding solutions to his percieved problem and come up with viable solutions. Needless to say I am pretty annoyed with how this situation is being handled. He also caused a problem in a recent youth ski trip over the vegan issue. My daughter carries with her a list of restuarants that have meals that are vegan friendly. The entire group stopped at Pizza Hut and there is a veggie pizza that you can order that is vegan friendly. My daughter and some friends on the trip wanted to order it and he would not let them, nor would he allow her to get some vegan food out of her cooler. She wound up having iceburg lettuce with a few veggies on it- hardly filling nor not much nutricianal value since iceburg lettuce has little to no value. It was very frustrating for her and upseting that she was treated in this manner. I could go on and on about how this made her feel devalued etc..... Right now as I mentioned just trying to investigate the full situation and come up with doable alternatives. That is a good idea contacting the Mexican consulate or embassy and asking. She is taking spanish 1 right now so it will help some. Thank you everyone for your kindness and suggestions.
