Science, Medicine and the Law

3 day conference

31 Jan - 2 Feb 05

Hosted by Green Network Charitible Trust, in conjunction

with the Environmental Law Centre

Venue: RIBA, 66 Portland Place, London W18 1AD

Details are below, but her website at

http://www.environmentalhealthfocus.co.uk/ will be updated by Monday stating

that admission will be FREE due to additional funding.

Michael Meacher is her keynote speaker on the Monday, followed by Dr. Sue

Mayer (GeneWatch UK) and Dr. Jean Munro (on pesticides, from Breakspear

Hospital) on Tuesday, finishing on Wednesday with speakers from the legal

profession on the precautionary principle.

She is very anxious that as many organic people get to the conference, as

she is fully aware that the GM companies may soon step into the countries

afflicted by the tidal wave with GM seeds to help boost their agriculture!

She also said she was speaking recently to someone from one of the organic

seed producers who was under the impression that GM and organic seed

production could co-exist! She is frightened that there will be no organic

food in ten years' time as it will be all contaminated by GM.
