Could be ;=) I'm not as up on that as I could be - I'm from the UK and so my parents weren't up on it on all their long years in Canada, and I've just spent over thirty years outside Canada. Memory fails! LOL Certainly the celebration in Canada is more than a month before the American Thanksgiving celebration. I should look up the rest, shouldn't I? ;=) But what I was referring to was not so much the concept of Thangsgiving as a feast, but as a Very Important Family Feast - 'with all its neuroses'. I think the USA - and our American friends will be able to assert this as true, I'm sure - would find Canadian Thanksgiving celebrations pretty palid by contrast. Or maybe I'm just corrupted after 6 months in the province of Quebec???? any more Canadian residents (or naturalized cits like me) on the list? Surely! Anyway, Happy Veggie Hallowe'en. However it started, however it has been changed over the centuries, it certainly seems to be here to stay - and if so it might as well be a happy occasion as not LOL Best love to you all.
