Guest guest
I saw this great documentray about a thai monastry that takes in orphaned animals, in particular tigers. It was interesting because they were not allowed ( being budhists) to have money , and so relied on the local villagers to provide them with food. This also included their carnivores. They are given chicken carcasses which they boil to remove traces of blood, before feeding the remnants to the tigers - to avoid them getting a taste for blood! What was fascinating was that these tigers were being led around on small leashes or just by the collar!. These are animals when on four legs were above waist hight on these monks, and when on their hind legs towered above them. I have managed to find their web site, but it seems to be a bit temperementsl! worth a look though. http://www.boonheng.com/indexeng.htm The Valley Vegan......Peter H ALL-NEW Messenger - all new features - even more fun!
