I couldn't believe my eyes.

They had dried okra with seasoning on them. I've

never seen these before and they are delicious. If

they have them in the L.A. store I would think the

other stores would stock them too. They were by the

deli area.

I had okra for the first time last night. We went to a buffet and they had

chunks of okra about an inch long very lightly breaded and baked. I really

liked it. I have been wanting to try it since the discussion of how good for

you it is, but they don't sell it in our stores here. Even the health food

store doesn't carry it. I did see bags of frozen orka, though. I don't guess it

would be near as tasty or near as good for you.
