Becky okra stuffin' where in LA Donna? - thanks and more okra info

Thanks Donna! wow, I have been paying 3.99 a lb for them, or at

least 2.99 at my local filipino store. I will certainly call to

make sure they have them since they are a little far for me (I have

been using my bike and metro for transportation). I'll make sure I

email you if I am coming your way!

 

We tried growing okra here this last summer and it did not do so

well, but we did get flowers, and guess what? the flowers are

edible, they can be eaten raw in salads. So we did not get any of

the pods, the flowers were turning into pods but we never got any

good ones, so we ate the flowers! LOL
