Guest guest
Donna, where in LA do you get the gigantinormous Okra? I am always looking for the fresh stuff, and every time i get okra, my SO makes me some yummy veggie gumbo....so what middle eastern store? Sometimes i find some in Vartan's on Washington avenue (Pasadena) but they are not large enough for stuffing. It the break betwwen the city of Lawndale and Redondo Beach. He usually seels them for 99 cents a pound. Need to call him first to make sure he's got a supply. He's got a lot of good spices, dried legumes and beans for a very low prince. Come out here and I'll meet you for lunch!
