Guest guest
Does eveyone make their own croutons and seasoned bread crumbs ? Very easy to do..Just cut the dried bread to the desired shape and size, spray with organic olive oil spray. Sprinkle on your favorite spices or herbs, spray again and oven bake until golden brown. Try cinnamon, and nutmeg bread crumbs/croutons as a topping for fruit coblers/pies. Spicy hot chili seasoning ,cumin, garlic and onion crumbs are great sprinkled on chili, soups, and dips. I store mine in an air tight glass jar. Make the seasoned bread crumbs the same way after grinding them in your blender or food processor. Seasoned bread crumbs can make a world of difference used as a topping on your favorite casserole or veggie dish. Italian flavored bread crumbs make a great cheese substitute on top of your veggie pizza. Smiles and hugs Deanna in Colorado
