TVP

My husband who refuses to eat anything but meat ate TVP tacos tonight

and loved it! He asked me if I made it with ground turkey and I said

no. He then asked if it was venison, I said no. Ditto for raccoon,

opposum (I think he was being silly) and ground chicken, all of which I

said no. I finally told him it was soy, like the hamburgers we used to

have in grade school in the 1970's. But back then I think there was a

mixture. He was surprised that there wasn't any meat in the tacos but

said they were fine seasoned the way I did it. I used the recipe in the

files section. He even said he would be willing to eat it again. I

asked him if he wanted me to show him what it looked like in

its " original form " and he said he would rather not know. So that is a

big step for him.
