Guest guest
I need help! Yesterday I picked up my grandmother at the airport and we are unpacking her bags today. She bought some stuff (at Denver Whole Foods) that was marked as quinoa, but doesn't look like the quinoa she bought before. It looks processed, and is kinda crispy like a very hard cereal. It was in the bulk section. Here is a pic: http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1208/4149255/11901919/227438373.jpg The pieces are about 4mm round and 2-3mm thick. Can anyone tell me what this is? Was it mislabled? How do I cook it (does it need to be cooked?) I hope someone can help me! Thanks, April
Guest guest
That looks like popped quinoa to me. I have some breakfast cereal that has some of that in it. If that is what it is, I eat it with dried fruit, nuts, wheatgerm and almond or rice milk. Christie
